How to Edit an Image Using Image Picker?

In this guide, you will learn how to edit an image on your website using Image Picker from Advanced Editor.

Once you are on the Advanced Editor page, click on the image that you want to edit to access Image Picker.

  1. Click the "EDIT" button on the Content Editor.

  1. After clicking EDIT, you will see the pop-up shown below.

  1. You are provided with a menu at the bottom of the image which provides you several, different ways to alter the picture. The menu consists of the following:

  • Transform – allows you to crop and resize, flip, rotate, and even keep the resolution of the image.

  • Filters – enables you to use preset filters on the image.

  • Adjust – alters the brightness, contrast, saturation etc.

  • Focus – lets you choose the focal point of the picture.

  • Frames – provides frames that you can put on the image.

  • Overlays – gives you an array of overlays you can use to give the image more character.

  • Text – allows you to write texts over the image which can be altered in terms of font style, font size, alignment, color, background, and line height.

  • Stickers – provides elements such as emoticons and shapes that you can add on your image.

  • Brush – lets you use write or draw freehand on the images and can be modified in terms of color, size, and hardness.

  1. Once you are satisfied with the image that you edited, click the "Save & Close" button on the upper right-hand corner of the window.

NOTE:

  • The image is saved in your library as well as on the page.

  • When you edit an image with the Image Editor, it is saved under Site Images.

  • Images do not replace previous images when making edits, they create new versions.

  • Keep in mind that there are some widgets which can allow you to add additional modifications such as drop shadows, borders, and overlays.
